This Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Internship Contract (“Contract”) is entered into between:

3. Purpose of the Internship
The purpose of this Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Internship is to:
- Provide the Intern with practical workplace experience aligned with their academic program.
- Equip the Intern with industry-related skills, technical knowledge, and hands-on experience.
- Satisfy university graduation requirements where applicable.
The Intern acknowledges that this internship:
- Is for a fixed term of 12 months.
- Does not guarantee permanent employment at SayPro after completion.
4. Duration of Internship
- This internship will run for 12 months, commencing on [Start Date] and ending on [End Date].
- Any extension beyond this period must be agreed upon in writing.
5. Nature of the Internship

6. Roles and Responsibilities
Intern Responsibilities
The Intern agrees to:
As a WIL Intern, you will assist the SayPro Ecommerce Services Office across the following domains:
🛒 Ecommerce Platform Development
- Assist with WooCommerce setup, feature development, integrations (CRM, ERP, Payment).
- Support testing, deployment, and quality assurance tasks.
🎨 Online Store Design
- Contribute to UI/UX design, responsive layouts, branding, and design optimization.
📦 Product Management
- Help maintain product catalogs, optimize product descriptions and images, and manage inventory and variants.
💳 Payment Gateway & Fulfilment
- Support gateway integration (e.g., PayPal, Stripe), transaction testing, and shipping rule setup.
📈 Digital Marketing & SEO
- Participate in PPC, email, content, and affiliate marketing initiatives.
- Assist with keyword research, on-page SEO, and performance audits.
🤝 Customer Experience & CRM
- Support live chat integration, loyalty program management, customer feedback analysis, and CRM data management.
📊 Analytics, Reporting, & Optimization
- Help with Google Analytics integration, dashboard creation, A/B testing, and performance tracking.
📱 Mobile Optimization & App Integration
- Ensure mobile responsiveness, optimize site speed, and support mobile app development.
🔐 Security & Compliance
- Assist in SSL management, fraud prevention, and regular security audits.
🔄 Content & Subscription Services
- Aid in blog setup, multilingual content delivery, and managing subscription/membership models.
🔧 Third-Party Integrations
- Contribute to integration with ERP, social media, marketing platforms, and analytics tools.
📚 Training & Support
- Assist in creating documentation, conducting training, and offering technical support.
- Fully participate in the program and complete assigned tasks.
- Follow SayPro’s policies and workplace guidelines.
- Submit required progress reports or evaluations as per university guidelines.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and confidentiality in all activities.
- Comply with workplace health, safety, and ethical standards.
Employer Responsibilities
SayPro agrees to:
- Provide structured mentorship and supervision.
- Assign work relevant to the Intern’s field of study.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions.
- Issue an internship completion certificate upon successful completion.
7. Working Hours
- The Intern shall work [Specify working hours, e.g., 08:00 – 17:00], Monday to Friday, with a lunch break of [Specify break duration].
- Overtime is not required but may be agreed upon for specific projects.
8. Leave Entitlement

9. Termination of Internship

10. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property

12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this Contract shall first be addressed through SayPro’s internal dispute resolution process before any legal action is considered.
13. Governing Law
This Contract shall be governed by the labor laws and internship regulations of South Africa.
14. Entire Agreement
This Contract represents the full agreement between SayPro and the Intern. Any amendments must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
