SayPro Request for Extension of the 12-Month MICTSETA Tvet Placement Programme for Diepsloot Youth Project
On behalf of the Diepsloot Youth Project, we wish to express our sincere gratitude to MICT SETA for the support and partnership in implementing the 12-Month TVET Placement Programme. This initiative has proven to be instrumental in equipping our youth with valuable practical experience and increasing their employability within the Marketing Management and related sectors.
We are writing to formally request the continuation and extension of the current programme duration. Based on the outcomes observed so far, the additional time will allow the learners to:
- Deepen their practical experience in workplace environments,
- Complete industry-relevant projects and certifications, and
- Enhance their readiness for long-term employment or entrepreneurial opportunities.
We therefore request that the current 12-month TVET Placement Programme be extended by:
- An additional 6 months, making the total placement period 18 months; and
- A further optional 6 months, to allow for transitional exit support, mentorship, or placement into permanent roles or incubation where possible.
This extension will ensure that learners are better prepared, organisations receive meaningful contributions from the participants, and the intended long-term impact of the programme is fully realised.
We are committed to fulfilling all administrative and operational obligations associated with this extension, including progress reporting, learner support, and compliance with MICT SETA regulations.
We look forward to your positive consideration of this request and remain available to provide any additional information or documentation required.
Thank you once again for your ongoing support in empowering the youth of Diepsloot.
Yours sincerely,
Puluko Nkiwane

Happy Fatherโs Day to All the Amazing Fathers
Today, we pause to celebrate the strength, love, and guidance of fathers everywhere. To every dad, granddad, stepdad, foster dad, and father figure โ thank you for the countless ways you make the world better simply by being who you are.
Your steady hands have held us through lifeโs storms, your wisdom has guided us when we were unsure of the path, and your heart has taught us the meaning of unconditional love. Whether youโre teaching life lessons, sharing a laugh, or silently standing by as our strongest support, your presence means more than words can say.
You are role models, protectors, providers, and often the silent heroes of our stories. Your love may not always be loud, but it is powerful, enduring, and irreplaceable.
On this special day, may you feel the appreciation you truly deserve. May you be surrounded by love, warmth, and the joy of knowing just how deeply you are cherished.
Happy Fatherโs Day โ today, and every day, we honour and thank you.
With heartfelt gratitude,

To the CEO of SayPro Neftaly Malatjie, the Chairperson Chief Operation Officer of SayPro Mr Legodi, all Royal Committee Members
Kgotso a ebe le lena

As this date approaches, it is imperative that we clearly communicate the next steps and confirm whether this extension will be implemented as promised, or if any other arrangements are planned.
Understanding the trajectory of this program is critical for the studentsโ planning and preparation, as well as for SayProโs operational alignment and reputation. I kindly urge the leadership to provide a definitive update on this matter at the earliest convenience.
Thank you for your attention to this important issue.
