-SayProP189-9-1 How to bulk publish SayPro Events?
To bulk publish draft SayPro Events using SayPro Sheet Editor, you can follow the process below. This process is ideal if you already have multiple events saved as drafts and you want to update them all at once to Published.
Step-by-Step Guide to Bulk Publish Draft SayPro Events:
- Open SayPro Sheet Editor:
- In the WordPress dashboard, navigate to SayPro Events > Edit Events (or Edit Custom Post Types).
- If you are working with SayPro Events, select the correct post type. SayPro Events could be a custom post type, so make sure you’re choosing the right one (it might be named something like Events or SayPro Events).
- Filter for Draft Events:
- Once you’re in the SayPro Sheet Editor, you will see a spreadsheet-like view of your posts (or events).
- You can filter the events to show only those that are in Draft status:
- Click the Filter button (usually at the top or side).
- Set the filter to Post Status = Draft to view only the draft events.
- Select the Events You Want to Publish:
- After filtering the events by Draft status, select all the rows of the events you want to bulk publish.
- You can either:
- Select all rows on the current page.
- Use the Select All option to choose all draft events across multiple pages.
- Change the Post Status to Published:
- Now, locate the Post Status column in the spreadsheet.
- If it’s not visible, you can customize the columns by clicking on the Columns option and enabling the Post Status column.
- In the Post Status column, change the value from Draft to Published for all selected rows.
- You can update the status for multiple events at once by editing the column values in bulk.
- Now, locate the Post Status column in the spreadsheet.
- Bulk Update/Save Changes:
- After changing the Post Status for all selected draft events to Published, scroll to the bottom of the sheet and click the Update or Save button.
- The plugin will then bulk update the selected events’ status to Published.
- Check Front-End:
- After bulk publishing your events, visit your website to ensure the events are now published and appearing correctly.
Additional Tips:
- Batch Editing: SayPro Sheet Editor allows you to quickly make changes across many posts at once. If you need to update other fields (like event date, location, or description), you can do that in bulk, too.
- Save Filters: If you frequently need to filter for drafts or other specific conditions, you can save these filters for later use.
- Export & Import: If you need to move or edit events in bulk outside of WordPress, you can export the spreadsheet and then re-import it once you’ve made changes.
Using SayPro Sheet Editor, you can bulk publish many draft events in a few clicks, saving a lot of time, especially if you have hundreds of events to manage.
